Weekend Action Recap: 15th - 17th October 2021

A busy weekend of action for our teams on the weekend!

Our Minis teams travelled to Athy for a blitz and we received great reports on how they all played. Well done to everyone and thanks to Athy for hosting.

Well done to our U13s who got over the line against North Kildare in a fantastic contest. Clane squeezed out a 31-29 victory in a highscoring and hard fought victory.

Our U14s recently joined up with North Kildare and played two excellent matches during the week. They followed up a trip to Cill Dara with a match against Naas. Both games ended in narrow losses, but with the team getting used to one another there have been plenty of encouraging signs so far!

Our U14 Girls side is amalgamated with Newbridge and played an excellent game against DLSP/Seapoint at home in the cup. Seasalle move on to the next round but a great performance from an improving team!

Our U16 Girls are mixed with North Kildare and Tallaght, and are just starting to get to know each other on and off the pitch. They played a friendly match against Skerries on the weekend. Skerries came out on top but good preparation for the start of the league next week!

Congrats to our U16 and U18 sides who both took home the points on the weekend. Both teams will have a couple of weeks off from league action after a strong beginning to the season.

Our seniors had the weekend off, and will return to action on the 31st October against Ratoath.
